Ron Alexander is the founder of the Functional
Fascial Taping® method
and presents
FFT® workshops both in Australia and overseas. He is co-supervisor of a randomised
controlled trial of FFT for lower back pain at La Trobe University. Ron founded
and refined this method over several years whilst the principal soft tissue therapist
for the Australian Ballet. During this period he was awarded ‘Lady Southey Scholarship
for Excellence’. |

Dr
Shane Brun is a sports doctor and director of Cairns Sports
Medicine. He is involved primarily in clinical practice
and has been responsible for the medical care of athletes
of all ages from amateur to elite. He holds a senior lecturer
position in the school of medicine at James Cook University,
and a masters degree in sports medicine. He has had extensive
experience in emergency and retrieval medicine and is a
senior EMST instructor with the Royal Australasian College
of Surgeons. He is also on the board of directors of SMA
(QLD) and Sports Doctors Australia. |

Dr. Kirby has specialized in sports injuries
of the foot and lower extremity, industrial injuries of the foot
and ankle, and foot surgery in a Californian orthopaedic group
for the past 20 years, during which he has held many academic
appoints and lectured internationally on the topics of lower-limb
biomechanics, foot orthotic therapy and sports medicine. He has
invented and developed a large number of clinical tests and techniques,
including the Subtalar Joint Axis Location Technique, the Anterior
Axial Radiographic Projection, the Medial Heel Skive (Kirby Skive)
Orthotic Technique, Lateral Heel Skive Orthotic Technique, the
Subtalar Joint Axis /Rotational Equilibrium Theory of Foot Function,
and co-developed the Subtalar Joint Equilibrium and Tissue Stress
Approach to Biomechanical Therapy of the Foot and Lower Extremity. |

Degree from San Diego State University in Athletic Training,
and a Masters

in Kinesiology from The University of Michigan. He worked as
an Athletic Trainer with the University Of Michigan football
and wrestling teams and then joined OASIS Sports Medical Group,
San Diego working as an OPA-C, assisting in Orthopaedic surgery,
reviewing patient cases and implementing an effective rehabilitation
program. Scott is currently the Manager of Education and Training
for Dj Orthopaedics, USA. |

David Spurrier is a Sport and Musculoskeletal
Physiotherapist at the Mitcham Rehabilitation Clinic, Adelaide.
He is actively involved with gymnastics and paralympic sports
and is a guest lecturer on the Masters courses at the Post Graduate
School of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia.
He has a special interest in the pathophysiology of injury and
repair, exercise rehabilitation and the application of exercise

international presenter, where her various sessions are always
